Mouswald is located in the beautiful Borders region of Scotland which is rich in tradition, heritage and breathtaking countryside. You’ll find quaint villages, bustling market towns, quiet backwaters, ancient fortresses, stately homes, charming pubs and everywhere, the homely hospitality of the Scottish Border people.
If you looking more toward getting out in the country then we recommend the walk to Caerlaverock Castle and Nature Reserve. Head along the edge of the Caerlaverock National Nature reserve mudflats, looking out for wintering geese, en route to one of Scotland’s most beautiful and romantic ruined castles.
Mouswald Park is situated on the outskirts of Mouswald Village, one and a half miles off the A75. We are approximately six miles from Dumfries and 15 miles from Gretna. We can easily be found from all major trunk routes in southern Scotland and northern England.
We are open all year round, and we invite you to view the park anytime at your leisure.
We can also recommend activities such as Clay Pigeon Shooting at Westlands Country Park.
